  FAQ

What is the output wave form of our Inverter?
The output wave form is Modified Sine wave

What is difference between VA and Watt?
While calculating Watt, Power factor is also to be considered. In case of resistive load power factor is about 1 but it will be different for Inductive load as current is lagging. So, voltage and current product will give VA.

Can we connect Neutral wire directly to house hold as Neutral IN & Neutral out short at Wago terminal?
It is not recommended

What is AH rating of battery?
AH means ampere hour rating of battery. More AH value means battery of higher capacity which can deliver more energy.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS & PROCEDURES

Site Preparation

  • In order to reduce the cabling cost it is important that EPABX system is centrally located.
  • The system should be ideally wall mounted at 4 feet height in a free and open space easily accessible by Serve Engineers
  • It is recommended that the installation site should not be close to electromagnetic noise such as any radio equipment, high voltage areas, any other electrical interference equipment’s etc.

Cabling

  • Please ensure that the Telephone cables are laid down in separate conduits/pipes/channels. Under no circumstances should it be laid with electrical or any other wires like TV channel/ Networking cables etc.
  • All the Extension cables ideally should be terminated on a MDF. This MDF should be installed close to EPABX and should have protection device. The integrated protection Modules (IPM) or Gas Discharge Tubes can be used as protection devices on MDF

AC Supply

  • A power point socket (230 volt AC / 5 amp) with switch should be available near to the system. The power point should be properly grounded.
  • The Power Supply for the EPABX must be separate from heavy current drawing equipment like Air-conditioners, Heaters, Welding machines, Electrical motors etc.
  • In case of AC voltage variation, it is recommended to connect CVT/DLC of 250VA

Earthing

  • The equipment should be properly grounded and the earth voltage should not exceed 3volts
  • A perfect electrical earth is must for the safety of the personnel and the system.
